🔒 Safety & scams
Condesa, Roma, Polanco are safe day and night. Avoid Tepito, Doctores, Iztapalapa. Don't flash phones or jewelry on metro. Common scam: broken meter taxis (use Uber). Phone clone risk — don't hand your phone to strangers.

🌋 Earthquakes
CDMX is seismic. Install SkyAlert app — gives 30–60s warning. If alarm/shaking: stay inside, away from windows, under solid doorframe. Building has emergency meeting point — check with concierge on arrival.
⏰ Time & meal hours

How To Move Around
Ride apps
Uber has the most coverage and English support. Didi is 30% cheaper. Cabify is nicer and mid-priced. Never hail street taxis at night.
Metro & Metrobús
Metro rides cost $5 MXN. Lines 1 and 9 connect Condesa to most of the city. Avoid 7–9am and 5–8pm (peak time). Buy a rechargeable card at any station.
